Graham: We Had Same Info as Bush

http://www.humaneventsonline.com/article.php?id=3558

Like I said before, all they want to do is put out any negative press against Bush if it is true or false.

A professor this moring told me that Dr.Rice lied and Richard Clark and President Clinton told the truth. He said Bush needs to come clean about what he knew about the hijackings and should take full responsabilty for 9-11. He said that what was in the linked article was fabricated and Graham was miss quoted and that I was not understanding the rest of the article.

What is he thinking?

He is a huge supporter and ranks high in the democratic party here in Florida. Its very scary!

Its child like and its their policy's that will bring down a city via a nuclear explosion!

Its all become about political advantage. We have got to rise above this! We are at war! We are all to blame for not seeing 9/11 coming but ultimately, only the terrorist are responsible and you can say what you want, but Pres. Bush is going to do all he can to get these bastards! We have got to except that this is the greatest threat we have faced since the Cold War.

Ah, heck -- if they want to settle things once and for all, why don't they just blame me - the American citizen?

Even I knew about the threat of hijackers when I was teenager. Whenever I'd hear the word "terrorist" in the 80's, I'd think about the news footage of the hijacker (Libyan? Lebanese? can't remember), sticking his head out of the cockpit window, waving his gun, while the plane was sitting on the runway.

9/11 was not the FIRST time we were attacked, but it was certainly the most severe. And it's not the first time we'd heard of planes being used as weapons (remember Kamikaze fighters?). It wasn't even the first time I'd ever heard about the Taliban. In my sociology class, we had been talking about the Christian missionaries being held by the Taliban in Afghanistan. My instructor said that different cultures have different rules and that the girls should have known not to go and try to preach Christianity in a country that is ruled by radical Muslim extremists because there is no freedom of religion there.

I'm sure our intelligence guys were trying everything possible to figure out what they were hearing and reading in those days, weeks, and years pre-9/11. I'm certain they had been following this stuff for years and trying desperately to understand who was doing what and planning what. But IMO, I believe that NO one knew the exact details of when and where, except for those who were carrying out and/or supporting the attacks. If anyone DID know, I'm sure they would have done everything in their power to warn us and stop them.

However, we ALL knew they were capable of attacking us because they've done it before. So if anyone wants to know who had knowledge about the possibility of attacks, they can come talk to me. Leave W and his crew alone to do what they do best. :)

All this Dems are bad and Repubs are wonderful is getting so old... but alas it is an election year and that is what our elections are all about... each side saying they are perfect. ;)

I'll be glad when Bush wins and this election is over.

I agree Jara, that was very well said Duck!

You can see that there was bits and pieces of information floating around, but I do believe that our own processes and laws hindered any way to communicate this effectively.

AFLAC,

Maybe you can see your way clear to lecture at our high school? The poor kids here are SO misled by their parents, who would vote for ANYONE if they ran as a Democrat!

Of course, this is because most of their grandparents came through the Depression with FDR's aid, and for some reason known only to God, they still believe that today's Democrats are the same as in Depression-era and World War II.

A common statement I've heard is this...

"Mah gran'pappy voted Democratic, mah daddy voted Democratic, an' Ah'm votin' Democratic, too..."

(PS: Please note that, of all my siblings and "extended family", only I, Debi and coppertop are socio-economic-political conservatives...which often leaves us "out" when family affairs come up.)

Well, Bill, if I was a good public speaker, I might consider it. :) But I'd most likely make a better speech writer than speech giver.

Thanks, everybuddy, for the compliments. Just calling it as I see it. :)
