Another stupid pet trick story...

I probably would've shared this with you anyway, but after reading Bonnie's story I had to post it now;

Most of you know I have three cats and a dog. Marty brought home a purple mum for me for Easter which I placed on the kitchen table. Before he went to bed, he noticed my one cat, Milo up on the table (yes, we do not have any control in our house), sniffing at the plant and looking to taste it. Marty then moved the plant to our kitchen counter, directly next to our trash can. Now, our trash can is very tall and it has a a flap on the top that swivels back and forth when you toss something into it and when it stops moving it will close. Well, sometime in the middle of the night, Milo decided he was going to try and get those flowers again. Apparently, he must've stepped on the top of the trash can cover and fell in!

I woke this morning and got the animal's breakfast ready. When I put it out, I didn't see Milo, so I started calling for him, looking in closets, in the basement, the garage, etc. I woke Marty up because I started to panic. We both were searching and Marty just happened to look inside the trash can when he saw two little eyes looking up at him! The poor kitty - he doesn't meow much and I had already tossed an empty cat food can in there, not looking inside.

So, Bonnie, it just may be that our pets are getting Spring fever or something and are just acting funny or something! :lol:

He's okay - I'm sure we'll be paying for it somehow later! He did get extra milk this morning! :D

Stephanie, your give you cat milk on a regular basis? It isn't good for a cats digestive system, as wasn't widely known back a decade, certainly two decades ago.

Mine only drink water.

Nothing wrong with spoiling your kitty :) I miss my kitty :sad:

When I moved into this apt. complex is 2003, I wasn't allowed to bring my kitty so my old neighborhood is taking turns taking care of it..

That's so sad! I couldn't leave mine - but hopefully your kitty will get a good home with one of your old neighbors.

Ever seen a cow eat birthday cake???? ;) My daughter's b'day was March 25. Her cake was pretty big and about 2/3 of it was uneaten. After it sat in the box for about a week, I was going to throw it out. Then I had a brainstorm. FLOSSIE!!! She eats everything. She loves cookies, bread, and crabapples. So I thought, why not give her some cake. I took the cake from the box and put it across the fence. The crazy cow licked all of the icing off first, then ate the cake!!! She ate the WHOLE thing. Wouldnt' let the 2 other girls have a bite!
