This news conference tonight at 8:30 PM EDT at the east room of the white house will be about any theme but I am sure that the press will ask the majority of the questions about Iraq and the memo about Bin Laden in august 6 2001.

It better be over by 9:00pm. If this interferes with 24 I'll slit my wrists.

If I were you I would see Bush because those prime time news conferences are very rare from him as this will be only his 12th since he is president. :)

Here we go... :) -----> Bush will be President 1,179 days, tomorrow.

1,179 days / 12 primetime news conferences = one every 98.25 days.

He is doing worse in the polls then his old man or Jimmy Carter at this stage of the campaign. That is why he is holding a news conference.

lol

I am hanging off the edge of my seat on what will happen next on 24. I think it will just start late. I believe they have the remaining episodes set to end during sweeps week.

I will definitely be watching the news conference though. I hope he sets some things straight and maybe shut up a few people. :)

I actually think more will be asked about the Iraq campaign and if we will be ready to shift power over in the summer.

That's right, he saves them for greater impact. Good strategy. He's going hold back until he delivers acceptance speeches when he's re-elected. I still think Kerrey blew it with his "I'm-going-to-cut-100,000-contract-jobs" statement the other day. He's somewhat out of touch with the reality of that situation.

Yes it is a great strategic move from the Bush team to create impact and be in the news all the time.I know that the white house press will be tough in their questioning tonight but Bush will handle them well.

A reminder about tonights Bush press conference at 8:30 PM EDT.I guess that the vast majority of the questions from the white house press will be about the latest situation in Iraq and about the Bin Laden Memo of august 6 2001.But I expect also some questions about domestic issues like the economy, gay marriage and also questions about politics.
