There is no such thing as "stomach flu." What you have is probably food poisoning.

Stomach Flu
This information is about stomach flu. You'll learn what it is, what its symptoms are, and how to deal with it.
Stomach flu is often called "intestinal flu." It's an illness caused by a virus, and it can produce different symptoms in different people. Some people develop a sore throat, cough, and nasal congestion similar to a common cold. This may be what's called "upper respiratory flu."
What people call stomach flu is usually marked by nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, weakness, and a general sick feeling.

Thanks for proving my point. It's caused by a different virus or bacteria, not Influenza.

Whatever it is called, it is miserable. Thanks, Pburgh and Linda for your good wishes. I went to the doctor with it before, and he said it was a virus that just had to run its course. He said Pepto Bismol helps to kill the bacteria. It's just that my body isn't putting up much resistance to the bugs going around. I'm not meaning to complain because others have much worse illnesses.

People call pretty much everything the flu or flu-like. When it happens in the stomach, they dubbed it stomach flu, despite the fact thats a misleading term.
My mother was a nurse, and she curses the idiot who came up with that term. Shes pretty tired of explaining that a flu shot won't stop stomach flu, but something like washing your hands after handling raw meat will.
