Enough of this Kerry flip-flops, Iraq is Bush's Vietnam nonsense. Let's get to an issue of vital importance - Waffle House or IHOP?

I say Waffle House, and if you say IHOP, you don't love America, support terrorism, have no compassion, blah, blah, blah.

If I could find an animation of a waffle clubbing a pancake, I would make that puppy my signature in a second.

One more thing, if you are an IHOP supporter, you are brainwashed by pancake-biased media outlets like CNN and MSNBC. I myself watch Waffle News, featuring coverage of the breakfast food industry that is Fair and Buttered.

Waffle House? Isn't that a nickname for Congress?

Waffle House rocks when you're on a long driving trip and have to stop for the night. I usually get eggs scrambled with cheese, a side of bacon, some hash browns, toast, and a waffle! It's way too much to eat and I usually have leftovers for breakfast in the morning.

This question is more relevant than you might think, because it parallels some of the lies/mistruths in the Presidential campaign. For example, a person goes into IHOP, orders eggs and gets EGGS with PANCAKE BATTER! For some, no biggie. For others, a serious breach of faith.

(BTW I asked at my local IHOP and they hemmed and hawed but eventually said yeah, there was batter in the eggs but probably not enough to make a difference. Not a good answer. For the record, I don't follow the Atkins diet but I am careful about what I eat. So, I don't like hidden extra stuff in my food. Eggs should be eggs. Potatoes should be potatoes........)

Personally I like the food at IHOP better - without the extra batter - but the convenience of Waffle House makes tthat chain a very close second.

Maybe the country needs an IHOP/Waffle House debate?
