(KSDK) -- St. Louis fire investigators say a Thursday morning fire at a north St. Louis school is suspicious and are talking with five students who may know who's responsible.
Fire fighters have successfully knocked down the one alarm fire that broke out around 8:30 Thursday morning inside a building located in the St. Louis Learning Center complex in the 2100 block of Bissell Avenue. It started on the west side of the building. There is smoke and fire damage, but no injuries are reported.
The fire has forced firefighters and school administrators to evacuate all the children and staff who were inside the school building.
The school is described as an alternative school, with 80 students, 6th through 8th grade.
