Hello Storm 2k people.. I had an interesting afternoon.. {and NO it wasn't Rated R lol}

This is what happened.. I had gone to my old HS because I wanted to see how everyone was and I wanted to check up on Casandra Neyer {the girl I have practically adopted as a little sister}

Well.. anyway.. I asked around and everybody all said they hadn't seen her. Around 2:30-2:45.. Ms. Dixon {my old 12th grade English teacher} got called to the guidance office where the principal and 2 police officers were waiting along with Casandras' mother.

Well.. Casandra has again been cutting herself According to the story.. Ms. Dixon went in to see her and Cassie began a whole.. "I'm sorry.. please don't hate me.." type rant.

Also according to what I was told.. Cassie was told twice she was going to be taken to a hospital and she actually tried to run both times

Anyway.. Here's the chilling part. I wasn't told of this until Cassie told me herself. I was in Ms. Dixon's classroom {she's in charge of a club at the school} and she {Ms. Dixon got a phone call}. It was for me

It was Cassie on the line and she was in really bad hysterics All she told me was "Please don't hate me.. Please don't hate me.. Don't quit being my friend.. I am going to get help for self mutilation.." She didn't tell me which hospital or when but she did say she'd try to call me as soon as she could.

Another disturbing part is that Cassie told Ms. Dixon that "Guys were paying me to have me show them my cuts and scars". I feel so bad for her.

Way back in September.. She {Cassie} actually tried to tell me she was a cutter, but I really thought she was just looking for attention. Not a cry for help.

I wish I knew why she was doing this. I hope she does call me sometime in the next few days. I'd really love to go and see her in the hospital but how much you wanna bet those wierdos won't let me because I'm not a biological family member..

Anyway.. Please pray for Cassie.. I'm still completely shook up. A chill went down my spine when Ms. Dixon said "it's for you" regarding the call from Cassie.

{breathes slowly as I try to calm down after the interesting afternoon}



I'm also wondering how she knew I was on campus today. The teacher claims she didn't tell her. Maybe God told her.. I don't know..

Wow I am so sorry to hear this...don't know ya yet but you can bet my prayers are with you friend...

She's in my prayers as well.

She's in the best place she can be right now. When she stabilizes, she'll realize that noone hates her. She'll be okay - trust me!

She is in my prayers also! You are doing great to be her friend right now. Re-assure her that you do not hate her,but that you love her like you love your family. keep repeating it till she believes it.

BTDT with one of my own. She will be ok and can become a productive citizen. Way to many issues involved to go into on an open forum, especially since we don't know the whole situation. She is in the right place now to get help. Don't be discouraged if you can't see/talk to her right away. There are reasons for that. Initially we were not even allowed totally free access to our son when we were dealing with this. It will get better for her and her family and you now that she is getting treatment, but don't expect miracles.

I'm so sorry to hear this John....many prayers are on the way for you, Mrs. Dixon and Cassie. May God be with her.

John....sending tons of good vibes your way! Cassie is fortunate to have YOU as her friend! I have a girl in class that also does this. Accept your friend....but not her actions. Let her know you're there to help her thru any difficult time that may arise. Cutting is something in her life that SHE can control.....I would bet that she has challenges both at home and at school. Such a strange thing this is....but more common nowdays than one would imagine.

Be there for her..........p
