Jesse Ventura says he might consider a run for the White House in 2008...

Opinions?

just a grandstander. his novelty has worn off. a day late and a dollar short. his idea of a national sales tax is excellent though

He's like President Clinton in some ways, to me. He can't stand not being the center of attention.

If its between him and Hillary...you know my choice.

But in all seriousness...I like him, but I don't see him as "Presidential".

Can you imagine press conferences with him? Some people think Bush is bad, but if I had to listen to him speak very long I would go insane.

Jesse doesn't know how to be political...but found a way to speak for the common people. Because the Presidential election is all about politics and big money, he'll not be a serious contender.

The fact that the people of Minnesota saw him as refreshing says something about the murkiness of "politics as usual."

I just wish we could put him in a ring with John Kerry. Then at least we know who would get the crap beat out of him. As for the 2008 election. Haha....I think Colin Powell should run to be honest. He has the best chancea at becoming our first black president and I think he would be one of the best we have ever had because he would actually get something done to benefit the people. If Ventura runs in '08, I would really hate to see Hillary wipe the floor with him because that is exactly what would occur. :)

As long as he doesn't name Vince McMahon as his VP, I wish him luck! :)

Personality issues aside, his concept of a national sales tax is intriguing, although I could never see him navigating that bill through Congress.

Pres. Ventura...

From what he did for MN, I woul dvote for him. But I have to agree, he may not be presidential material, but politics is getting outta control. Time for a change.
