Despite the positives of my day.. There is 1 negative as well..
I am having a MAJOR ANXIETY PROBLEM!

I am soooo scared that something happened or is going to happen to Cassie.
I am going to her school {my alma mater} tomorrow and hoping that somebody can give me an update on how she is.
She did say she'd call me at my neighbors place when she had the chance. I know they probably had her on suicide watch for 3 days.. But the 72 hours have passed..
I'm quite nervous.. I will share the news of Cassie's latest tomorrow if I hear anything new.. But I am scared, nervous, even afraid

John, don't read anything into the fact that Cassie hasn't contacted you yet. Like I said, BTDT with one of my own. At this point EVERYTHING is focused on Cassie and getting her to a better place mentally. That may not include contact with anyone outside her immediate world for a while even if she told you otherwise. She is in a major transition phase right now and is going to be learning to take responsibility for herself and what she has been doing. That is a huge step and requires a lot of a person that has not been there. Trust me, all will be fine. And above all TRUST THE LORD!!

I know that David.. I have even been told not to expect hearing anything from her for a while yet.. But it still scares me that I haven't heard much..

John....as difficult as it may seem...you must learn to trust that God is in control...and that He will watch over Cassie AND you!
When you learn to trust...and understand the power of handing off those burdens, you will come to better control that anxiety.
Easier said than done, I know....but it is possible to do.
