Toddler Survives After Being Run Over By Van Four Times

GERMANTOWN, WI -- A Germantown, Wisconsin woman says God must be watching over her little boy.

Police say her two-year old son survived after she accidentally ran over him -- four times -- with her 46-hundred pound van.

Police say the mother thought the wheels were hitting landscaping timber near the front lawn yesterday, so she pulled forward and backed up again.


Police say the boy was crying and had good vital signs when emergency workers arrived. The van had run over his chest and legs.

He's in the hospital with a broken thigh and liver damage, but is expected to recover.

A relative had been watching the boy, but says the toddler had walked outside.

God must be watching over her little boy.

That mother must feel awful. Just very glad the child is ok.

How terrible. Thank goodness that baby is going to survive.

I always had that fear when my kids were toddlers. At that time we had a full size conversion van and it was hard to see to back out. Thank God the baby will be okay
