Today I haved seen many people including congressmen that haved said Rumsfeld didn't acted quickly enough to inform the american people and to congress about the Iraqi prisioners controversy.Even President Bush said today that he was left out of the loop about this.
What is your take on Don Rumsfeld handeling of this controversy?
I say he was too slow to deal with this and slow telling the president and congress all of what happened but not a sufficient matter to make him resign that post.

this is an easy one. i heard ted kennedy say rumsfield should resign because he didnt give us all the facts. lets see, teddy killed a girl and lied about it. he didnt resign.

Yes RS that Ted Kennedy episode was a very bad thing that happened to him but this Iraq prisoners abuse controversy is very different from that Ted Kennedy event.

How is it different? Those prisoners are still alive the girl is dead and no one will ever know the truth except the murderer Ted Kennedy. He has no right to ask anyone to resign. He is a pompus you know what.

I'm the President...feeling like the noose just tightened around my neck this week.
This is a tough one, but I believe an unraveling of leadership midstream in the war might be seen as another sign of the lack of American resolve.
He ought to stay.
