Apparently he was "interviewed" after 911 because of a connection to one of the perpatrators.
Cavuto on CNN just brought it up.

Cavuto is on Fox. And yes, I just heard it too. Apparently Moussaoui used Nick's email address while he was in the U.S. or something like that. He was questioned for this after 9/11. They said it was a "coincidental" link.

Hmmm... so could this just be a set-up for AlQaeda or am I missing something?? Is this story not so sinister after all?? Was he working for AlQaeda?? Hmmm...

Berg is the beheaded American, right? Let's not drag his name through the dirt, if this is the case. Rumors are rumores, period.

The FBI interviewed him 3 times while he ws in jail. No one that I have seen has said what about for sure. His parents are very upset that the FBI didn't get him out of the country when they interviewed him. There is something here and it is probably just the fact he was an independant contractor not tied to any big corporation. I have not heard about the other stuff(the connection).

He allowed a terrorist suspect to use his computer to send out an email. He was questioned and released.

Let's remember this man supported Bush and the war in Iraq. I just find it hard to believe that he has ties to Al Q.

Well hopefully...like I said.. it isn't true. The facts should prove it isn't. I find nothing hard to belive after 911.

Nobody said he has ties to Al-Qaeda and I haven't heard anyone drag his name through the dirt. Actually, I was thinking it might be possible he was a federal agent, maybe a spy or something.

I do not believe he has ties to AL Q either. He was interviewed in Iraq because he had Israel stamped on his passport. That immediately put him under suspicion.

Neither do I! That is a TOTAL outrage if this is all lies!

So you want Cavuto to tell lies instead of the truth? I don't understand your statement GD.

I hope it's not true as well. If it is just rumors, I hope that they're put to bed quickly so the family can mourn in peace.

I took offense to this thread because I feel it is disrespectful to speculate that Berg might in some way be connected to terrorism. The man was just trying to help, was slain by those horrible people, and now this gets brought up. Maybe I'm wrong, but I have faith in the good of people, despite the times that we live in.
