Virus E-mails

This morning, I have recieved two e-mails from people that I don't know, and MS Outlook blocks the "unsafe" attachments.
Has anyone heard of a ploy where in the subject line, they indicate that your mail was not delivered?
I don't fall for it: 1. A mail failure is known no too long after you send mail. 2. It is not very professional.
Just wondering if anyone else in the S2K community recieves these types of e-mails!

That sounds like the way the blaster worm operates. Delete it immediately.

You can pen the message to get the IP address of the sender, but NEVER the attachment

I get those, alot. I delete them, as, the message
that I normally get when an e-mail is undeliverable
does NOT include an attachment. Most of my
bulk mail is attachments from "yadda-yadda-yadda
@?????.com", which gets reported as Spam, in
the twinkle of my rascally little eye.....

Duh! (I say to myself)

Thanks for your responses. Yep, those e-mails are currently in e-mail heaven or, well, that other place!

Forgot to mention, my MS Outlook actually blocked the attachment. I could not access it, period, unless I messed with the settings. They were .pdf files. If your e-mail program sees the attachments as trouble, I guess it is best not to try to defeat the software's thinking.
