DSO exploit question

I ran spybot and it found 3 items. DSO exploit. They were registry items...I chose fix this problem. I guess it deleted or modified the files. I checked online and it said this is a linux virus or something..that it would be ok to dlete. I think I may have installed them when I installed mozilla firefox..I have long dleted firefox and these were probably leftover files. I restarted the puter and it seems fine,,comments??? Thanks
