Syria is definitely a bad actor. there were reports that Saddams WMD's were taken There.

You don't hear much about oppression by the gov't there. I think we should finish what we started in Afghanistan and Iraq first. We can't occupy the entire middle east.

It's starting to look like as we give back governmental power to Iraqi's,the case against Syria will be made.

We need to find those WMD and disrupt another terriost host country.

The dismantling of Syria should have been the first thing we did, and it should have been done at the same time we went after Bin-Laden and the Taliban!

That is a serious problem. I agree with Ed though, we must finish our jobs in Iraq and Afghanistan first before going after Syria.

The only way I see Syria being next is if Bush is reelected AND we see a very strong case made. People will be antsy about going into another country so soon after Iraq. There is about a .01% chance Bush would do that before the election.

No doubt North Korea is like a drug dealer in WMD and thier government is based on control n terror n perception. In this case I think the dealer is the issue more than the user..plenty of other users.. North Korea is not to be trusted... Syria is like another junkie..These people will NEVER stop killing with religion as the justification...Hence NEVER..imho

I agree with you on that one Garrett! It just wouldn't be a good move for him to do this until after the Elections when it won't affect his votes.

Those with WMD will be jumping through all types of hoops making noise now that the US is getting all the negative publicity and guys keep coming home a few at a time in body bags.

There are many who love taunting us when we are down, but what they do not quite understand is that noise made now can still be heard many months later.
