Pentagon is putting a halt to SHOCK AND AWE campaign. Don't know the reason - there also seems to be some confusion to if Iraqi is under any leadership right now.

This is from CNN - at home watching TV now.

According to Fox News and MSNBC the "Shock and Awe" campaign has not even started yet. Pentagon says you wont be able to miss it!

his sons for safe passage. my biggest fear is that saddam will go into comfy exhile, the un will step in and tell us to stop, and we will be left with a mess. bush has total victory in his hands. we can be in baghdad in 2 days. dont do waht bush sr did in 91

The very latest as I have it... The shock and awe campaign has been delayed because we are in negotiations with members of the Iraqi Army, Republican Guard, and Sr. Republican Guard about surrendering. This has nothing to do with Saddam, who most officials believe is still alive and is not leaving.

This is not negotiating time, this is unconditional surrender time

Yes Wx that is the latest I have heard too. It seems some high ranking members of the REPULICAN GUARD are wanting to surrounder.

When and if I hear anymore I will post it. Sadamn is said to be alive and supposely the media is reporting that is him on the tape last night - but we don't know how old that tape was....seems like it was edited - someone said there a freeze frame during it.

What are talking about when you mention the UN? I am speaking of negotiations between the US forces and the Iraqi forces.

You accept nothing less than unconditional surrender unless you are losing. Other factors are secondary. Civilians die in war, that is a sad reality
