A DECLINE in gas prices..?

I haven't updated them on my site lately..
But I have actually seen a decline in gas prices around here. Some stations have had modest declines of 3-4 cents.. while I saw 1 gas station that has taken a 12 cent dive in the last couple weeks..
Will prices continue to dive.. or are they about to go through another upswing..?

Indeed.....over the past 3 days, I've watched ours go from $2.04 for the 87 Octane to a WHOPPING $1.88

Yup, yup...we talked to one of the station owners today at the place where we trade at all the time, he said he's looking for another 5-8 cents drop in the next coupla days.....better stock up before the oil companies find ANOTHER excuse to raise the prices!

Down at least 4 cents as of now. About $1.82 Took my dad to the post office this afternoon(yes I drove

) but was paying attention to the road, not the gas prices. I'll check tomorrow. We're going to fill up the family car before we leave for Florida Sunday Morning.

I haven't noticed much of a decrease. It's been $1.99 for at least 2 weeks, today I filled up at $1.98. Hopefully the decrease continues here!

From a high of $1.99 to $1.89 for regular here. That's not bad, raise it 50 cents, then "give back" 10 cents. Now we're conditioned for another ratcheting up.

Well this is because they raised preduction 2 million barrels a day. And lowered prices per barrel 10% from the record highs. My gas prices have droped from a high of $2.05 for regular unleaded to my lowest in over 3 months at $1.78 cents per gallon. This is over the last week and a half by the way.

Down from $1.90 to $1.82 here. We can only hope the trend will continue.

If I had to guess, I would say yes. This time of year is the peak travel season which means higher demand. July 4th isn't that far off either.

See, Helen? I just knew you'd regain your optimism by morning.
(Unless you're in the oil business, then that would be pessimism.
