Proof positive that I'm a young adult now lol..

I just went to the conveinence store to get a ticket for the Mega Money drawing tomorrow night.

Well.. I got carded by the woman working there lol..

That's kinda cool that happened.. Plus since I don't drink or smoke.. I'll more than happily be carded for my lottery tickets whenever I get them.

{dont worry I only play every once in a while lol}

Hold onto that as long as you can!!!

I've been carded before and it's a good feeling. As recent as 3 years ago (I'm told I look 15 years younger than I am). I was buying a 6 pack for my husband, my youngest had a school field trip the next day, she was plopping down candy on the counter. We had quite an assortment at the 7/11. Beer, candy, gum, donuts, etc. The cashier asked if I was buying the beer for the 'youngin'. I did a double take! So did Laura! We looked at eachother and laughed. Again he asked if I was buying beer for her. I said oh no, it's for her dad. He asked who I was, I said I'm her mom. Asked to see my ID. I showed it to him and he said okay, this is a fake ID. Again, we're rollling on the floor and having a fun time with it all. Finally I realized this guy was serious. I said wait I have gray hair, oh no, I just colored. I couldn't pull a gray strand out to save my life. I said hey ask me anything - about the Beatles, JFK, Watergate, bla bla bla. Finally, I sobered up and said - hey this ID is legit, I was born in 1955 and if you'd like, call the police right now because I'm buying this beer! He sold it to us. And we laughed the whole way home. I told Laura it was all that candy she plopped onto the counter, amidst the beer. I think he thought we were trying to slip a 6 pack in, without him noticing. We've seen this cashier since and Laura always whispers - hey mom there's the guy that thought you had a fake ID!

LOL Eric. I am told that despite being 21 1/2.. I look only about 17-18 or so

I am clean-shaven...and some folks have told me in the past that I look younger than my age (of 41)...I take it as a compliment.
