My mom is pregnant!!!

I'm still in shock here. My mom is pregnant!
Me and my sister found out Monday in Florida. I waited til today to post because my grandparents didn't even find out til a little while ago. It's due in either October or November. Don't know what it is yet, but we may find out tomorrow morning when we see it on the ultrasound. My dad is 41 and my mom will be 35 by the time the baby is here. I'll be 16 and my sister 11 next month.

Congrats!!!!! How wonderful for you and your family. Now you might have a baby brother as well! Best wishes to you and your mom as she goes through this miracle.

Congratulations, Brent. I always find these age spreads in immediate families interesting
and not because my three brothers and sister are 7, 6, 5 and 4 years older than myself.

Brent - I was 35 when my last baby was born! It's not that unusual these days. 2 of my sisters-in-law had kids at 41 and 42!
It will be a change, that's for certain. But a wonderful change perhaps.

My father was a month away from his 49
th birthday when I was born. My mother turned 40 1/2 on June 22
nd, 25 days before my birth.

Bump... the baby will be born Thursday Morning around 8:30am Eastern time. It's supposed to be a boy.

Having a younger brother when you are sixteen is a good thing. I have a sister who is 15 years younger than I am. Spend time with your baby brother and get to know him. It will make you feel closer together later on.
