Free speech?

Got an email the other day asking me to engage in a debate about something on another board. It seems minors can watch stuff on TV and on the Internet (no thanks in part to the USSC, as seen in the article above). And even though they're viewing something that they feel is wrong (and is completely illegal for them to view anyway!), they still like to watch it. Two people in a private, personal, committed, possibly intimate relationship is a no-no, but if it's on camera and lustful with two or more drugged-up participants, it's cool!

Here's my question -- just how in the world is pornography considered "free speech?" There's no message there! There's no script! It's just two or more money-hungry people engaging in any and all types of lewd acts and being recorded on video for other people to watch. Free SPEECH???? Come on!

IMO, if ADULTS want to view that kind of thing -- regardless of which kind of genre they want to view -- who am I to say what they can and can't see? But children?? Especially on the internet -- it's way too easy for stuff like that to be accessed and I, for one, am bothered by it. I'd call child protective services if I knew the parents were responsible for letting these children have access to smut like that! :grr:

Me too! That's total BS, I wouldn't watch it and I can't imagine any parent letting their kids watch it!
