And yet we keep hearing from the mainstream media and the Democratic Party about the "non-existant" WMD's. If the terrorists were looking for them then you have to assume that it's fairly open knowledge that they exist!

WARSAW, Poland — Terrorists may have been close to obtaining munitions containing the deadly nerve agent cyclosarin (search) that Polish soldiers recovered last month in Iraq, the head of Poland's military intelligence said Friday.
Polish troops had been searching for munitions as part of their regular mission in south-central Iraq when they were told by an informant in May that terrorists had made a bid to buy the chemical weapons, which date back to Saddam Hussein's (search) war with Iran in the 1980s, Gen. Marek Dukaczewski told reporters in Warsaw.
"We were mortified by the information that terrorists were looking for these warheads and offered $5,000 apiece," Dukaczewski said. "An attack with such weapons would be hard to imagine. All of our activity was accelerated at appropriating these warheads."
Dukaczewski refused to give any further details about the terrorists or the sellers of the munitions, saying only that his troops thwarted terrorists by purchasing the 17 rockets for a Soviet-era launcher and two mortar rounds containing the nerve agent for an undisclosed sum June 23.In May, a booby-trapped artillery shell apparently filled with the sarin nerve agent exploded alongside a Baghdad road but caused no serious injuries to the U.S. forces who discovered it. At the time, officials stopped short of claiming the munition was definite evidence of a large weapons stockpile in prewar Iraq or evidence of recent production by Saddam's regime.
The warheads all contained cyclosarin, multinational force commander Polish Gen. Mieczyslaw Bieniek said.
"Laboratory tests showed the presence in them of cyclosarin, a very toxic gas, five times stronger than sarin and five times more durable," Bieniek told Poland's TVN24 at the force's Camp Babylon headquarters.
"If these warheads, which were still usable, were used on a military base like Camp Babylon, they would have caused unforeseeable damage."
The tests were done by U.S. experts, who were conducting more.
The munitions were found in a bunker in the Polish sector, but Polish officials refused to be more specific.

Paolo just refuses to hear the truth even when it strikes him in the face. Maybe one day one of these non-existant WMD shells will find it's way to Rome. I hope not but it's a clear possibility.

Ya.. You should already be use to someone else doing the dirt job for you.. Sleep should be second nature as well.. The thanks part must be something new though

I'm sorry to be so blunt but that has to be one of the stupidest things you ever posted! How can it be easier is there weren't any WMD to begin with? You've made that point on here countless times! Iraq was just one of many countries with the capability and the willingness to supply weapons of any kind to terrorist organizations. If you want to take the stance that the weapons that remain aren't under control, then how do you say that's any better than them being under the control of a mass murderer and madman?
Syria (with their own and probably most of Saddam's stockpile), Iran, and North Korea among others are the also a threat. One way or the other they'll have to be dealt with as well!

Im Italian and i dont like it when people make fun of or totally dis the Italians....but Paolo is an exeption. Italy is one of the few countires that actually backed America and joined the war. Italy has suffered some losses but not as high as american casualties. Italy has helped greatly in this war and we appreciate that. Italy is also one of the few countries that hasnt suffered a major terrorist attack on their own land. Italy has accepted that if they back the war then they will be met with serious stuff..like attacks on their land ( and kidnappings...). Paolo...you should be proud your country is serving to protect the world, because of them and about 4 other countries, the world is alot safer.
