When I was a child I used to think that the sounds that the crickets, whistling frogs and so on made at night actually came from the twinkling of stars!

Did you think so too? Just curious.

My baby sister believed that she had to take a nap in order to recharge her batteries, which were located in her ankle bones. Because that's what we told her to get her to sleep (and out of our hair).

When I was little, I used to say, "The sun is out" when I couldn't see it, like a light being out, and "The sun is in" when I could see it, as if being in the room.
