Clear lead for Bush here, but anyone who thought Edwards could help Kerry carry this state was smokin' crack to begin with.

I believe Edwards' impact would be felt more deeply in a closer state such as Louisiana, Arkansas, or Tennessee.

Don't count on Louisiana.

It is an outlier Chad......
Not saying Kerry is ahead or will win NC...He is not ahead and will probably lose NC, but 15 pts.....BS.

I saw a CNN Gallup poll this morning that I believe had Bush ahead in North Carolina
56 to 41% so this one that Chad posted looks to be pretty accurate as far as polls go.

It is an outlier.....5-10 pts is the real lead....plus we dont know if the gallup was done after the announcement.

5-10 pts is the real lead
Not that I dont believe you at all, but what leads you to believe 5 points? None of the polls show that.. again, just wondering

This is an interesting poll here in VA, which is a traditional REPUBLICAN STATE!!
Found off of FoxNews.com...
VA:
BUSH- 47%
KERRY- 45%
MARGIN OF ERROR- 3%
BUSH MAY WIN NC, BUT COULD KERRY TAKE VA?

Everyone is counting out Missouri for Kerry, too...but all I see is the Democrats throwing money around on signs, while the GOP is ENERGIZED in a way I have NEVER seen before.
It ain't over 'til it's over.

Missouri has voted for the winner of the election every year EXCEPT one in the last 100 years or so.
Ohio and Florida are the other states to watch.

Don't know the whims of all the voters in Arizona, but we have a lot of baby boomers here and John McCain is a key speaker at the Republican convention.
After the convention, the polls, and events in the world, will become much more significant.

I think Arizona could still go either way. New Mexico went Democratic in 2000 so Arizona could, but I don't think it will.

So... two polls showing the same thing are outliers???
That CNN USA Today Gallup Poll was taken on July 9-11, after Edwards was picked on the 6th.

It is one poll with Nader and one w/o.....not 2 polls...And every other poll, inlcuding 6 or 7 on the website that Chad linked, shows Bush has a lead of 4-11 pts, not 15...It is an outlier.
