Just gave landlord notice of my departure.. :(

I just wanted to let you guys know I just gave my landlord verbal notice of my leaving and I have a formal paper I need to sign and date to make it official.
I'll probably be turning that in, in the next day or 2.. 3 max.. as I have to now call my friend who said he'd let me stay with him. Plus I have to tell my friend that next week this probably has to get done.. or even the following week but that'd be pushing it.
I also found out.. that I might be leaving here just in time lol.. I am scheduled to be getting a roommate on 8/1!
If you're worried.. that I'll drop off the planet.. I won't.. My friend has a comp. and he lets me use it several times when I'm over there.. and I'll give you guys updates from there..
Now I just have to figure out what day I wanna get all my packing and stuff going.. I'll fill the paper out and turn it in either tomorrow or Thursday.. I just have to decide what day that I'll be out by.. Probably 8/3 or something just in case the moving out process takes a little longer than anticipated..
