I just received a message similar to an IM from Storm2K titled "Private Message." Is this safe to Open????

This is just a gut feeling, I *think* someone is out to get all of us, I'm NOT saying anything against anyone BUT....with the recent email to Amanzi, so on and so forth, I wouldn't!

If there is a firewall up and I know it's from a registered member, I'd feel better. But hackers are out there. When in doubt, throw it out?? Thanks.

If you got the message here, then it is from a registered member... un registered members cant send messages... If it is a private message through storm2k then it is ok to open up....

I've received a few private messages over the last few days. It comes as a pop-up window when I'm logged on here and I get notified via e-mail when I receive one of those also. It sounds like that's what you have....

its just a private message someone sent to you. in your settings you can say if you want a pop up window to come when someone sends you a private message. If you don't want a window to pop up to tell you have a private message then just change it in your settings. the private messenges are from random registered members that want to tell you smthg but don't want to post it to the whole board. its nothing bad...i dunno what dennis is talking about.

LOL, probably just making sure it was ok, I get those allll the time, lol, I just went in my profile and turned off the email notice, becuase the pop-up one on here lets me know if I have a message!

It was a Private Message in a pop up window. I didn't open it cause I was on my 'puter at work. OK, SouthernG, I'm at home....sorry......I'm SSSSOOO Confused

I got the message and yes I did. There've been a lot of calls in that area during the past week.
