Never in my life have I seen a sports network go out of their way to take a political stance like ESPN did last night during the Red Sox-Yankee game. A game I looked forward to all day was virtually ruined by non-stop, Kerry in your face interviews and photo ops.

It started with the 1st pitch and continued every single inning till the most rabid Red Sox fan you may ever know, was ready to turn off the TV.

Thank you ESPN for ruining my baseball game last night.

On a good note, the Red Sox were able to overcome the huge distraction of the Kerry gang poisoning the sacred grounds of Fenway Park, and once again, destroy the Spankmes.

Espn did mostly talk about the game ya know.. Just because they kept showing Kerry doesn't mean squat.. If Bush were at the game instead they would have done the same thing..

But also remember.. It was the night before the DNC was going to start

They are a SPORTS NETWORK!!!!! I'm sorry..but I don't agree with you...and I would venture to say, that the majority of baseball fans, even Yankee fans, were disgusted by the constant interruptions to pander to Mr. Liberal.

I agree they went a bit too far in the coverage of Kerry as in many occasions the cameras pointed to him apart from the interview they did with him.

They would have done the same thing if Bush were in the stadium.. Espn did nothing wrong.. If Bush would have been there.. they would have kept pointing the cameras at him..

Lighten up people.. It's just a stupid game

The Democratic Nat'l. Convention wasn't supposed to start at Fenway Park yesterday.

There should be such a thing as seperation of sports and politics. :)

I think you need to calm down and chill. "Mr. Liberal?" You have problems beyond a presidential candidate being focused on during a baseball game. Now, if they had been showing Bush the whole time do you think you would be this upset?? I doubt it.

You obviously don't know me....Yes I would still be upset if it was Bush (although..not nearly as upset). I tuned in to watch baseball, not Kerry. If I wanted to listen to Kerry all night, there were plenty of avenues besides one of the biggest games of the year.

Firstly, if you're going to insult someone at least have the decency to frame your sentences properly and spell everything correctly.

Secondly, you're much to young to have an opinion that matters regarding politics.

Thirdly, you're young and impressionable. There are some people here who are ignorant and obtuse (on both sides), take their beliefs with a grain of salt. Consider the source before placing value on their opinion.

Lets get back to the subject at hand...an ALL sports network pandering to Kerry. I'm NOT over reacting.

The 1st pitch..ok maybe I'll give them that much. Perhaps a short interview to test his Red Sox knowledge :).....but it was non stop!

My lovely wife, certainly not as die hard a Red Sox fan as yours truly, told me she couldn't stand much more of this.

It was downright sickening!

Please...... pandering? Have you seen any Kerry ads on ESPN? Were they pandering to Bush at the Texas Ranger games in 2000???? You're doing much more than overreacting, you're reaching.

I saw the video this morning on a local news channel. I had to agree with you guys in your statements.
