The Democratic convention really has quite a lineup this year, let's take a look.

This man murdered a young woman and then tried to get his cousin to take the blame for it. WHO--- Edward Kennedy

This man caused the nation to go into the deepest recession since the 1930s. Inflation was about 20% a year, and interest rates on a home was between 18 to 20%. American hostages were being held by a terrorist nation with no hope of strong action to free them by the sitting President, His one attempt at rescue caused the death of several American soldiers, and not one hostage was rescued. Now the Democrats showcase this failure as one of the parties hero's and elder statesmen, who has the guts to appear before the nation and give President Bush advise on how to run the economy and to fight a war.WHO ----Jimmy Carter

This man thought the White House and the nation was his private playground. He rented rooms in the White House to anyone that would contribute to his reelection campaign, even though some of the guest were no friends of this nation. His extramarital affairs were not only a disgraced to himself and his family, but also adversely affected the worldwide prestige of this nation. He and his wife participated in shady real-estate deals in his home state of Arkansas, and he left office with the economy in a tailspin. WHO----Bill Clinton

This man who would be President, except for the grace of God, based on his recent actions, needs to watch out for the men with the nets. He has proven that beyond all doubt that being a certified nut does not keep you from being a leader in the Democratic party. WHO---Al Gore

This man did serve his country in Viet Nam for about 4 months. Then after receiving 3 scratches that would not even require a band aid he came home and promptly ran around the nation calling his fellow comrades in arms baby killers. He further undermined this nations war efforts by banding together with like minded friends, such as Jane Fonda, and protesting the war efforts. He further disgraced the men of our military by, throwing, medals earned under suspicious circumstances, over the fence at the White House. Since that time, as a US Senator, he has done everything he can to dismantle our military, intelligence networks. He has voted against all weapon systems, against pay and benefit packages for men and Women serving in the armed services, and he tried to cut billions of dollars from the intelligence budget. Now this leading Democrat and traitor to this nation is asking us to vote for him as our President. I think you know WHO--John Kerry.

Yes, the Democratic party has alot to be proud of. The only other place you could find such a lineup would be in a sanitarium or prison.

Chandra Levy's body was found in May 2002 in the Washington DC park they kept searching. They never found out who did it. I have my own suspicions though, not that it matters.

I love people from around the globe, but please, is America really ready for an "accented" First Lady? I know we have Arnold here in Cali, but he's NOT in the white house! I think alot of other Americans feel the same way, perhaps even Hillary? Did you catch her roll of the eyes when Teresa was talking???lol

alright alright...perhaps the word "murdered" was a bit harsh. But it could have been worse. He also drowned a woman and then forgot all about it he was so drunk!

I wasn't talking about Ted Kennedy/Edward Kennedy. Both of them are WAY too far left for me and I hate them. I am talking about the things you put for Carter. Some of the things there are clearly wrong.

Which part is wrong, Matt? That's how I remember the Carter administration, although I was pretty young at the time. I still remember how bad gas prices were and a punchline on "Good Times" referring to it -- The plumbing was out in the apartment building and for some reason Booker couldn't get it fixed. Someone mentioned something about going to the gas station if nature called. And J.J. said, "That's going to be hard because we can only go on odd-numbered days!" -- referring to how some places only allowed you to purchase gas on odd days if your license plate ended in an odd number and vice versa for even numbered plates.

And I definitely remember the hostage situation.

Well, I most certainly remember the Inflation, high interest rates, gas shortages and the Iranian Hostage Crisis and the failed rescue attempt during the Carter Administration so that part is certainly true. Carter was an honest man (unusual for a Politician) but a very ineffectual President-mainly because the Congressional Democrats didn't support him. Clinton would have wound up the same way except that the Republicans took over Congress and he turned out to be a good compromiser. The Chappaquidick Incident happened around the time of Apollo 11 if I recall correctly.
