BREAKING NEWS Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge to raise terror threat level in Washington to high (orange), official tells CNN.
More later this afternoon when Tom Ridge will hold a news conference.

Reports of the same from Fox News Channel, as well. However, I believe I heard for New York City alone... but for them at the very least.

Yes. Fox News Channel's Brian Wilson did say New York City as well as his location Washington, D.C.

FOX reports that there will be a news conference w/ the mayor of NYC and the NYC police commissioner at 4 pm ET.
