I was wondering what happens when a storm is coming and what your place of work does. Im thinking of writing a story about it.

I work at Wal-Mart here and before that I worked at Winn-Dixie. I just want to hear other people's stories.

I worked at Kroger during my senior year in HS. All I remember is how it was before major snowfalls were predicted and before Thanksgiving -- busy, busy, busy!!

Duck - that's how it is at any area Kroger's store up here if a snowstorm is even predicted. Long lines, crabby people, clerks overworked. And sometimes live news crews! Yup! But since I'm up on wx now I like to be stocked with groceries, just in case. So I don't get caught up in all that nonsense. But I'd say over 50% of Cincinnatians do.....mainly b/c we had 2 back to back severe winters, 77 and 78, and we remember them too well. :-)
