.....I had a BLOWOUT on the way to work today! I was going in early too so I had to wait 45 minutes for someone who works with me to drive by and pick me up!
Can I please just be known as the Queen Of Bad Car Luck!?!

One more thing, and I think I will drive that thing straight into the Mississippi!

LoL, soldier - she's been kissin' that same frog for too long.....
Oh, Jacki - I keep resucitating my '92 Chevy Lumina...it's
a mechanic bill, once every two months! But...I just REFUSE to
fork out new car payments!

Well, as they say, bad things come in threes. It sounds like you've had them. Thank God you weren't injured!

I must be the King of Bad Luck, Period. I know what you mean about Blowouts/Flat Tires --- I've replaced no less than 5 tires since February 2002 - (No flats since August 2002). My blowout happened at 5 am in the morning in a BAD part of town. Very comforting isn't it?
I'm glad that you are ok.

Thanks guys! That car is just a hassle! If it isn't one thing, it is 5 others!

I would get a new one in a heartbeat- IF I wasn't still paying on it!

Get a used one.....let some other sucker take the hit
for depreciation on the new one!

Jacki, my car is a time bomb waiting to go off! My step-dad just put a new radiator in it...and well, the radiator and the stereo is worth more than the actual car!
Last year alone we (my dad and I) forked out over $700 for repairs on it! Alternator, Serpentine Belt, Heater Coil, Stereo, etc
The sad thing is that I need to make it last til I graduate from UWGB which will not be til Dec 2004 or May 2005. (I'll be a super senior when I graduate considering I'll have Senior status at the end of this semester)

I am fortunate to have a nice car (well mini-van actually) but I sympathize with you Jacki. My friend has been in three wrecks in the last few months... none have resulted in serious injuries and none have been her fault. I am almost scared to ride with her. :o
