which one would be better?
1.) The Scotia Prince-11 hours.
2.) The Cat- 2.5 hours.
3.) The Princess of Acadia-3 hours.
I dont want to spend $150 on the cat, I want to get to Yarmouth early in the morning, and spend a few days exploring the countryside.

Take what ever ferry gets you to Yarmouth early in the morning then don' t stop till you are on the outskirts of town.(Over priced tourist trap).
You can either take hwy 1 which runs along the Bay of Fundy or Hwy 3 which runs along the atlantic coast. Either way you are going to pass through beautiful little communities and meet the friendliest people you have ever met. Enjoy your trip!

Gosh I went on the Scotia Prince back in the 80's. Nightmare from hell it was. Hit an ocean storm with 50 foot seas, snow squalls and waves breaking on the ship so hard the splash hit the dining room windows way at the top of the ship! Don't go in November...
That part of Canada was absloutly beautiful and we had a great time...till it was time to get back on the boat...LOL...the trip home was even worse. I was the only sober person on the ship (free drinks for all) and it took me four days to get my land legs back.
If it were me, I'd take the quickest way possible. I'd love to go again, the people who live there are wonderful. Have a good time.
