According to Msnbc Web site Saddam to speak to Iraqi people at Noon Eastern. Wonder if it'll be live or memorex this time.

Like the saying goes, where there's smoke, there's fire. There's been alot of speculation in the news about Saddam's status and his sons. As it is being discussed in another thread, perhaps something did happen to Saddam personally (family or otherwise) and that's why they're trying to get out to Syria. Time will tell, but he does have to hold up something that references today's date.

Then again, it could be one of his doubles...hmmm.

Steph.. his public relations minister read a speech Saddam supposedly wrote. Saddam supposedly said "Bring on the Jihad" That kind of floored me because I have NEVER heard him use the word Jihad before. Fox news picked up on it too.
