ooo its a dead heat.....o if it becomes vote only then it will slip to the bottom and that wouldn't be good :( no one would see it and then they won't vote.

That's true JQ...

I'm sure king of weather didn't think about that.

I have always liked to know what others enjoy watching out of the three cable new channels. I have enjoyed Fox News Channel over MSNBC and CNN for awhile now. My cable provider didn't get it until early 2001.

Of course, when CNN was all alone in the cable news department, no one had a choice.

I watch all 3 stations but I vote, Fox, Cnn and then MSNBC. They are all good stations though.

I prefer MSNBC but I change to the other media outlets to check the LATEST NEWS.

I leave it on Fox News. I'll flip it around occasionally if Fox has a commercial or something, but I very much prefer Fox.

I'm surprised that MSNBC is doing better than CNN on this poll. For those of you who prefer MSNBC, they could use you on the Nielsen ratings. They do terrible in the ratings. Fox News is always in front, followed by CNN, and then MSNBC a distant third. Personally, I prefer to watch MSNBC over CNN between the two but I think MSNBC loosely reports news sometimes possibly trying to beat the other stations and doesn't confirm their news first. (sometimes, not all of the time) Every station makes a mistake occasionally, but I've just seen it too many times from MSNBC. Could that be why their ratings are so bad? Just a thought....I'm not trying to dog MSNBC.

Actually, MSNBC is a distant 3rd in overall ratings, but there are shows like Countdown: Iraq that were performing better than CNN's Crossfire. I would be much happier with MSNBC if that would not air Imus in the Morning.

Also...another issue. MSNBC is on a lot fewer cable systems than FOX NEWS and definitely less than CNN.

Really?

I was aware that CNN is on more cable systems than Fox News but I didn't think that Fox was on more than MSNBC. That's news to me. (no pun intended)

It makes sense to me. :) Fox News Channel has grown rapidly in the last one to two years. They were welcoming quite a few cable companies over the last several months, not has much in the last six months.

I would be interested to know how many markets each channel is carried in.

This brought a smile to my face. Here at work in our cafeteria they have had Clinton News Network going on the 2 TV's in there since I can remember. WE cannot change the channels. Welll...enough of us complained and our voices were heard.

We now gratefully have Fox News on 24/7.
