I wish I knew how many posts I made in the old "S2k Fun & Games" forum. It would be nice to see what my true post count would be.

What do those of you who participated in that forum, [and others, too] thoughts about it?

What do you mean by true post count Tom? Are you trying to find out how many discussion posts you made versus game posts?

Wnghs207 - I think the new games forum is great. First and foremost, this is a WEATHER website and there will be lulls during the seasons.

I aggree with Steph. I love the new flash games. The older "Fun & Games" forum was getting old and some members where making it not as fun with pointless posts.

The arcade is fun but sometimes I miss the old games...unfortunately due to a certain indivdual's behavior at the old games it was scrapped...sigh

Life goes on. ;)

That's right, Stephanie... I am referring to the posts I have made in all the other forums, versus the Fun & Games forum.

At first, I played them like several members did, then I participated in them more to get the most popular ones at the bottom and those with the least posts on the top and then that didn't have a point to me (I suppose agreeing with the majority of the board). :wink: -- so I made an occasional visit to rapid scan a post here and there while doing stats, which included deducting posts made after Midnight and/or 1:00 AM Eastern Time.

* * * There were 248,629 posts made in the Fun & Games forum * * *

Maybe Chad or Marshall can get that information for you. :)

It doesn't sound like it's possible, but perhaps it is.

Putting the issue on the table may be worthwhile in some sense. :)

If I know the exact number of members who were regular visitors to the forum and divide that number into the total number of posts that would give the average number of posts those that participated made.

Luis, Joshua and KC's numbers will obviously be higher than the average while the other dozen or so-? are below the average.

Not sure there is a way to do that or not Tom, but I will check it out for you :-)

I liked the games that were played in the Fun and Games Forum, but I think that we are better off without it now. Stephanie is right, this is a weather forum, not just a play to play games all the time. :p
