Just read this report, but can't confirm it yet.

"A large amount of magnesium explosives and ammunition were found on the Haggart Road in Morristown, N.Y. The Morristown fire department have blocked off the roads and Fort Drum personnel are on their way to investigate."

Anyone know if the military uses magnesium explosives? I'm thinking that maybe they could belong to a soldier who forgot about them, but that is just a speculation on my part; I know nothing more than the paragraph I posted above.

This seems less likely now. I looked online to find out where Morristown is, and it is about an hour north of Fort Drum, on the Canadian border. Makes it very interesting, to say the least. Anyways, here is the location of the town where the items were found-

Just called my BIL and he said that it is used in C4 so it may be military. What type of ammo and how much?

I'm not sure. The report was taken off the website, probably because site owners couldn't find a news report about it, they were just going on tips. I'll see what else I can find out.
