I need help!

I would put this in the suggestion and tips forum but I think I get more results here.

I have on my dial-up computer recently had a taskbar added to my IE that I didn't add. It is called Intelligent Explorer. I have went into the control panel and deleted all the programs associated with it that I could find, but it doesn't go away and when I connect to the internet all the programs reappear.

I don't know what to do.

Any suggestions would make my day!

Thanks,
Garrett the Frustrated

Garrett, try my favorite removal site:

http://www.pchell.com/

If PC Hell don't have it listed, pop them an e-mail!

Have you tried Spybot Search and Destroy, or some other kind of spyware remover?

I think this one of those things I had on my PC and Ad-Aware removed it off for me

Garrett,

The toolbar is yet another spyware annoyance. The uninstall can be found at this link:
http://www.ieplugin.com/uninstallac.html

You can also try running AdAware or SpyBot. The best anti-spyware program I found is produced by Aluria Software. It's called Spyware Eliminator. Here's a link: http://www.aluriasoftware.com/homeproducts/spyware/

You can download a 30 day trial version or purchase the full version for around 30 bucks. If you decide to buy it, the investment is well worth the money.

Spyware is one of the biggest headaches I have on my network. I'd do anything to make it disappear forever.
