CHEBOYGAN, Mich. -- Police said two people used dog feces to settle a grudge.
Cheboygan County prosecutors authorized littering charges against Frank Scott, 51, and Sharyn Ostroske, 55. State police from the Cheboygan post say they threw 40 plastic bags filled with dog feces and toilet paper on the roadway in front of another person's house.

Chad I have a better one for you. Last year one of our city councilmen and a well known attorney (Dickie Scruggs) were in a debate over the Longfellow House. The Longfellow House is a restored antebellum home that now belongs to Scruggs. Joe Cole's (councilman) property is right next to it. There are weddings, parties, class reunions etc at this home, which is located on the beach in a residential area. The city councilman called the police one afternoon for loud noise complaint. Things escalated after that. Scruggs and Cole got into an argument the next afternoon and the city councilman chunked "dog poop" at the attorney and vice versa.
When it came to my courtroom (work) it was hilarious. The charges were dismissed and the two "model citizens" were both ordered to clean each others properties.

It made front page headlines in the local newspaper and the whole town was laughing!!
Dickie Scruggs is the well known trial lawyer who sued the tobacco companies.

Wow lindaloo - sounds like the poo was flying in your hometown. I think the punishment fit the crime.

Chad, You oughta send that to Dave Barry. His column is usually about bizarre things like this, which people have submitted to him.
