A Russian diplomat enters the Russian Embassy in Damascus, Syria, on Monday with his car's windshield showing a bullet hole. Russia's ambassador to Iraq accused U.S. troops of firing on his convoy of diplomats and journalists as it tried to leave Baghdad for Syria, reportedly injuring at least four.

This a WAR...$#!+ happens. And how does this man know that he wasn't fired on by fedayeen wearing US uniforms? We know they have 'em...and they are not beyond taking a "cheap shot" like this to play to the world that we're a bunch of trigger-happy barbarians.

I saw, the Convoy had deviated from it's agreed upon route file with US Military Authorities which means that their Diplomatic Immunity was no longer valid and they were a legitimate target. It was probably done on purpose so that Putin will have something to mean lady about when the Borschtheads, Frogs and Krauts have their "Summit" in St. Petersburg.

Yeah, can you believe that those guys are meeting in St. Petersburg to discuss their claim on Iraq. Maybe they'll invite pyonyang and kim jong as well, or however you spell their names. I say they should have to try to come back the same way they left; into a barrage of lead!! Don't let them cross the damn border. we know the only reason they vetoed the war was for $$$$. And the Limousine liberals said "Bush is going against world opinion." Bull cookies!! they're losing their meal ticket, oil deals and military (weapons) trade agreements. If we let them have a piece I will be very upset. If we leave them out in the cold, our european friends may get desperate; the russians are struggling as it is. And now Osama Bin Hidin' calls again for jihad! things goin' to hell in a bucket fast! Let's watch the UN enforce a resolution against N. Korea for its nuclear program..LOL!! We may have taken Baghdad folks, but there's a big world out there and the reality is; our allies never were :o Cheers!! Take no prisoners in Europe

SteveH: NOW is the time to have this conversation - yes! Again you hit all the important facts here - these countries, Germany, France, Russia, etc. all have economic interests at stake and they feel that we are railroading their possibilities right out of existance. This is a complex conflict due to all the fingers in the pie - we say we're there to liberate Iraq (ok) from it's Wacky Iraqi (Captain Insaneo) but not everyone in Iraq or around the region is so happy that we're there. We have to look at the big picture here and understand what the rest of the world really thinks; we cannot afford to ignore any of this. Sure we're doing a great job (from our perspective) over there and yahoo, Saddam's regime may be out; however, what are the secondary ramifications across the board? We will either ignore every other country or try to smooth the feathers. Now how easy is THAT little task going to be??? Fairly intricate and time-consuming I'd say. Now I'm not criticizing our efforts or the war or any of that - far from it; I'm simply saying that we need to discuss these other issues in addition since we live in a world of science & technology and everyone knows the equation algorithm:
