I was one of the 65% that is not married with a personal ad...however, it didn't work ... *LOL* ... no surprise ... but the funniest thing is that I actually did meet someone from another message board in person and that weekend was the absolute best!

"Wendy" perhaps was invented for the "Peter Pan" books, but since then it has saved generations of "Gwendolyns" from having to enunciate that ungainly Welsh mouthful...

LOL Tom. I found that funny as well.

Bill, I also thought that the name Wendy was a derivative of Gwendolyn, I may be wrong though.

I know Laurie, I cant stand roaches. I heard somewhere if you spray them with bug spray they lay eggs and you get more roaches... YUCK.

For some reason, it is. What I don't know is why somebody hasn't translated it into Quenya, which is such a nicer sounding made-up language.
