Tragic News from Tallahassee

Just reported on Tampa's NBC affiliate and we checked it out on the website for the Tallahassee Democrat: two persons killed in a crash on I-10. The fatalities were Bobby Bowden's former son-in-law and one of coach Bowden's grandsons. Apparently their vehicle was involved in a collision with a power truck on its way to help with Frances' aftermath.

Thoughts and prayers to all of the Bowden family from all of us.

folks, its very dangerous out there. trust me i was out in it sat afternoon and evening when i drove from fll to palm beach and was out yesterday in fort lauderdale and you have to be careful. sat night of course there were a few like me and my buddy getting tape and of course a couple news trucks but yesterday probably 80% of the traffic lights in fll were out and 1/2 the people blow right through the, without stopping.

I'm a diehard Gator and I think Bowden is a class guy. Sorry to hear about his loss.

We just heard on the news here that they were driving from Texas and that it happened there. Not storm-caused. (except that if there hadn't been a storm, they may not have been driving here....)

My sympathies for the Bowden family.

Papa Bowden is one of the best football coaches in the NCAA Div I. Terry Bowden coaches for Clemson. Another great coach in the making.
