Pink In San Diego

Hello again. This is Emma. My papa (grandpa) is azskyman.

I am only two, and I have no idea how anyone ever thought blue was for boys and pink was for girls. I don't even know what red is yet?

This morning my mommy and daddy went to the doctor to have some kind a "sound" test, and they came out saying that the new baby's room was going to be pink! They told me "she" was healthy, and would become part of our family right around Thanksgiving.

I think this is all good news, but mostly I am just happy that my granny (gee) and grandpa (papa) are coming over to my house this afternoon for the weekend. I think they live at the airport, because when they want to see me we just stop out in front and they get in the truck...and when they get tired of seeing me, we just drop them off there again. Boy, they have lots of room to live at the airport, but it is too noisy for me!

Anyway, I just wanted you to know the news. I don't know what a "sister" is yet, but I'm thinking I will find out just in time for Christmas.

Meanwhile, my papa said he and I are going to have fun this weekend and we both get to watch "Ivan" on TV every few hours. Ivan must be a boy because there is blue stuff all around his eye on the TV.

I thought Frances was a girl, but then I saw blue around that eye too.

This world is SO confusing!

Gotta go take a nap. Papa and Gee will be here in a few hours. Maybe they can help me learn what pink and blue really are.

Luv,
Emma
