*LOL* - I know what you're talking about now ... Originally I thought you talking about the show or actual ongoing contest currently going on.
(Sorry I don't watch Americal Idol - but I did see that "Worst Singer Segment" - my ears still hurt)

Well, there was this one kid in my HS classes that was singing songs from Justin Timberlake, Michelle Branch, etc. way off-key!

I laughed so hard, I nearly fell off the couch! I mean, that's messed up for a guy to sing "Like A Virgin" on TV. I bet the whole world (Including UK, Australia, Japan, China, etc.) saw him! LOL!

Although, I've heard people chop up lyrics to the song, and I too felt sorry for the songwriters b/c, you get to hear someone sing:
"Hhan yu heer it in ma voids, Roses somethin' I listed, Duz da hole world nhhaaaaaaaoooooowwwww?"
or:
"Oh, babe you see me ridin' in a rocket, you gave me a start, Den dododododo da me, you dropped me back down to this coal, coal whirl!" LOL
