If a person is opposed to the proliferation of prayer petitions, is the expression of that sentiment permitted here? Thanks.

Weather53, huh? If you don't want us to pray for you, that's just fine. Done.
Dixie had started several, dire-very worrisome threads on the HH forum. People were offering prayers over there, which she appreciated, and since a good number of us over here on Off Topic grant prayer requests, I thought Dixie wouldn't mind a few more. Thankfully she didn't and her grandson is fine. The Admin doesn't have a problem with prayers, for members requesting them.

Here? I wouldn't call it wise. I'd say start a new thread instead of attacking this one in particular.
As for "proliferation," I'd call that a stretch.

Who knows, Weather53 may need the prayer warriors someday. I hope not, for his/her sake, but you just never know. I like to say we accomplish great things when we pray together - magic, but that's not exactly a religious word, but hopefully you know what I mean.

Nahhhh, I'm going to pray that Weather53 understands and accepts our "proliferation" of prayers petitions. We are a family and when prayers are requested, we send them up. Participation in this is not required but God has answered many of our prayers.
