I read this on another forum I monitor: Mesa airlines flight 6332 from Kalispell, MT to Phoenix, AZ is being diverted to Boise, ID to make a crash landing after the nosewheel axle fell off right after takeoff.

The airliner is a Canadair Regional Jet 200, which seats up to 50 people and has 3 crew.

That's all the info I have right now.

**Be advised, this in UNCONFIRMED. It could be true, or it could be a hoax. We probably won't know for sure until it lands, if there is indeed a problem..

Looks like the report may be true. Flytecomm.com shows that the flight is indeed being diverted to Boise. It didn't turn back and crash land at its departure airport for a number of reasons. First of all, it needs to burn fuel. You don't want to crash land an aircraft full jet fuel. Boise is also a larger airport with more emergency response services.

The aircraft is currently approx. 20 minutes out of Boise, at 19,000 feet, speed 281 mph.
