There are 5,000 members on the memberlist, however there are quite a few members who have at least one other membername for whatever reason.

I am looking forward to the "maintenance," for some of the stats.

Didn't this board get started as an off shoot of the Palm Beach Post message weather message board, if I remember correctly. Someone didn't like the way things were being run over there?

And we have grown incrementally, as a result of many of us leaving "other" forums, for whatever reasons.

tanda35 - in answer to your question, I found my old welcome thread when I joined in Feb. of 2003. Marshall/mf_dolphin has a reply on that thread, about the origins of Storm2K:

I saw that we were at 4998 a few days ago and knew it was only a matter of mere minutes I'm sure before we hit 5000! I can't believe it either sometimes......I came in somewhere in the mid 100's I think. Tom, you'd know my exact number. I could find it, but it would take some time.

Actually you're right, 268's not a bad number. But I'm sure I'll like the number 20 better when I get to that age!
