I got a question

What the heck is a solunar..?

I see the term used in the sports section of the paper listed underneath the tides..

what is it

Hopefully, someone can explain better, but to the best of my knowledge it has to do with the times when the moon (lunar) is up during daylight hours with the sun (solar) -- thus, the combination of the words into "solunar." Used in conjuction with tides, it can help those who fish in salt-water determine the best times to get a catch.

For me, I just use nice, tough raw bacon for bait -- doesn't matter what time of day it is. :wink: Unless we're setting crab traps, then it has to be chicken necks. :)
