Earthquakes have stopped and now it's a continous tremor. The tourist observatory is what is being evacuated. It's about 5 miles from the mountain. No one lives up there...

They are expecting it to be 10 to 20 times larger than Friday's steam explosion. In 1980... it was 2 months of tremors before the big eruption. They do it expect within the next day or two though.

One of the things that prompted the evacuation was that the tremors became harmonic which indicates lava or magma moving near the surface I believe.

Last night on the news,a scientist said a crack has developed on the south flank,and they have now detected the odor of gas.NOT GOOD
A violent eruption on the south side could take place.
