Ok, I have several white plastic outdoor chairs that have the white faded off. Is there a paint I can use to repaint them. I cannot see throwing them away as they are in great shape. These are not the little cheap chairs.

I can suggest Lowe's, Janice! They should be able
to help you with that question!

Is the white "faded off" or are they dirty?

If it is dirt of some sort, you can wash them down with a special soap (or plain old Mr. Clean, Spic & Span, etc.)

If that does not work, borrow someone's power washer--that will definitely make them white again... Pretty amazing. You don't want it on really high power--you don't want to remove layers--so set fairly low and test on bottom first...

Lowes has a spray paint called Plastic Enamel that bonds to plastic. No sanding or primer needed and it will not chip or peal. It is for indoor or outdoor use. I bought a can of red just to try. Wondered if I could spray those new plastic Folgers coffee cans and then decorate them to put cookies and candy in at Christmas.
