When I saw the sad news scrolled across our TV screen this morning, I gasped. I couldn't believe he died. Not Christopher Reeve! I think we all had hopes of him walking again someday.
Truly sad, sad news. What a devoted wife and children he had too.

*sigh*
My hero.
Sad news to wake up to. The radio on my alarm clock came on and they were playing a snippet of the theme from "Superman." Then the reporter began with, "He played the Man Of Steele..." and I didn't have to hear anymore to know what the news was.
He never gave up faith that one day, he would walk again. Today, he walks with the Father.
RIP Chris.

That's a wonderful way to look at it Shawn - today he is walking in Heaven.....that is some comfort at least.

Christopher Reeve's life was full of contradiction...when he played Superman, he wasn't....and when he no longer could be superhuman, he became one. I have admired his struggle after his accident...and his wife and family's too. He was extraordinary and as Shawn stated, is now set free to fly and walk once again.
