DALLAS, Texas - After some spotty weather during the State Fair of Texas, it finished strong this weekend.
One last day of fair fun. One last day to do whatever it is people do at the fair.
There were plenty of people to watch, because on Saturday, officials sold more coupons than any day in history.
The food lines were long for all the old favorites – onion rings, onion blossom, turkey legs.
There were big crowds, but apparently everyone was well-behaved.
"There hasn't been anything significant enough for the police chief to call me, so I judge it's been very, very quiet," said Dallas police Sr. Corp. R. L. Baer. "Overall, it's been a great fair. A very, very good fair."
